For the past 23 years I have been a resident of Dallas, originally from Chicago, this is where my family is and this is where I will spend the rest of my life, as a Proud Texan, a Proud Mexican Texan.
During those 23 years I have been one of the strongest voices for the Latino community in the Dallas Ft Worth Metroplex. On major issues affecting you and your Family, I have been the lead voice and unfortunately many times the only voice speaking out on issues important to our community.

I have been a catalyst for major social change leading the charge to end the discriminatory hate based legacy of Tim O Hare when he wanted to ban Immigrant Families from Farmers Branch, by enacting restrictive housing laws that were discriminatory and punitive towards Immigrant Families.
TEXAS 33rd DISTRICT Our community still has one of the highest unemployment rates in Texas and in the nation. A great number of individuals still are without affordable health care. We have a growing drug epidemic that is being ignored and our children are becoming victims of drugs and dangerous addictions.
Our immigrant family members and friends continue to live with fear, with incertitude and without dignity and respect or appreciation for their great contributions, hard work and Entreprenurial spirit.
